With its long ear from its dad a Donkey and long legs from its mum the Horse, the Mule is easily recognisable as a friendly hard working animal. Have you noticed the leg colour lightens as it rises up the leg to the cream belly. The mule is known for working carrying heavy loads around the world but they are also ridden and have been successful in most equine disciplines.
